Anthony Gordon converted two penalties – one just before halftime and another in the 64th minute. Harvey Barnes finished it off around 80’. Newcastle flexed big time on the road.
Monaco 2–2 Manchester City
Over at Stade Louis II in Monaco, City’s Erling Haaland opened the scoring 15 minutes in with a cheeky chip. Jordan Teze leveled for Monaco, and Haaland struck again just before halftime (44th minute). Monaco got a VAR penalty late on, and Eric Dier calmly scored in the 90th minute, making it 2-2. Drama until the final whistle!

Juventus hit back with Federico Gatti’s bicycle kick (49’) and Francisco Conceição (56’) to take the lead. Renato Veiga headed home in the 90th minute to salvage a point for Villarreal.
Arsenal 2–0 Olympiacos
Arsenal controlled the game at Emirates Stadium in London, winning 2-0. Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring 12th minute, and Bukayo Saka added a late second. Clean sheet, solid performance, and six points in the group so far.

At Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona, Barça took the lead through Ferran Torres in the 20th minute, but PSG came back. Senny Mayulu equalized before half-time, and Gonçalo Ramos headed home the winner in the 90th minute. Tough loss for Barcelona at home.
Bayer Leverkusen 1–1 PSV
At BayArena in Leverkusen, Christian Koffane gave the hosts the lead in the 65th minute, but PSV’s Ismael Saibari equalized quickly (72’). Ended 1-1 – a competitive draw where neither side could grab all three points.
Kairat 0–5 Real Madrid
Real Madrid bounced back in style, absolutely running riot in Almaty with a 5-0 win over Kairat. Kylian Mbappé stole the show with a stunning hat-trick, first a calm penalty in the 25th minute, then a cheeky chip just after half-time, and finally a rocket into the top corner to seal it.
Eduardo Camavinga joined the fun with a powerful header in the 83rd, and Brahim Díaz wrapped things up with a late strike in stoppage time. Poor Kairat had no answers, especially with their 18-year-old keeper making his debut. Madrid’s attack was just too sharp, too fast, too ruthless.
Pafos 1–5 Bayern Munich
Bayern are just ruthless right now. Harry Kane was unstoppable again – he opened the scoring in the 15th minute and doubled his tally in the 34th. Raphael Guerreiro and Nicolas Jackson also got on the scoresheet before halftime, though Pafos did manage a brief smile with a long-range strike from Mislav Oršić. But Bayern weren’t done. Michael Olise added a fifth in the second half, and Kane could’ve had even more.
It was another statement win, and Kane is already into double digits for the season.
Atalanta 2–1 Club Brugge
This one was a rollercoaster. Club Brugge actually took the lead first thanks to Christos Tzolis, who curled in a beauty in the 38th minute. But Atalanta never stopped pushing. They got their equalizer when Mario Pašalić won a penalty and super-sub Lazar Samardžić coolly buried it in the 74th minute.
Just when it looked like the points would be shared, Pašalić popped up again in stoppage time, sneaking in at the back post to head home the winner. The stadium went wild, Atalanta finally got their first points in the group.
Marseille 4–0 Ajax
Marseille came flying out of the gates and never looked back. Igor Paixão was on fire, scoring twice inside the opening 12 minutes to put Ajax on the ropes early. Mason Greenwood then added a third before halftime, picking Ajax’s pocket in midfield and finishing it himself. After the break, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang got in on the action, finishing off a slick counterattack to make it four.
Ajax looked stunned and never really recovered. For Marseille, it wasn’t just a win, it was their first Champions League victory in three years, and the fans celebrated like crazy.
Inter 3–0 Slavia Prague
Inter made this look easy. Lautaro Martínez opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark, pouncing on a rebound in the box. Moments later, Marcus Thuram burst down the right and set up Denzel Dumfries, who hammered in the second.
Inter stayed in control, and Lautaro added his second of the night in the 65th minute after a slick passing move. Slavia Prague barely troubled Inter’s backline, and the Italians kept their perfect group stage record intact. Solid, efficient, and exactly what Simone Inzaghi would have wanted.
Chelsea 1–0 Benfica
Chelsea fans probably aged a few years watching this one. The only goal came in the 18th minute when Benfica’s Richard Ríos accidentally turned the ball into his own net after Pedro Neto whipped in a dangerous cross. After that, it was scrappy and tense. Benfica pushed for an equalizer and even had a penalty shout late on, but nothing was given.
To make matters worse for them, João Pedro was shown a second yellow in stoppage time. Chelsea clung on for the win, not pretty, but three points all the same.
Galatasaray 1–0 Liverpool
What a night in Istanbul. Galatasaray pulled off a huge upset by beating Liverpool 1-0. Victor Osimhen was the hero, calmly slotting home a penalty in the 16th minute after Barış Alper Yılmaz was fouled in the box. Liverpool had their chances, Cody Gakpo hit the woodwork, Hugo Ekitike fluffed a big one, and a late equalizer was chalked off by VAR.
To make things worse, Alisson limped off injured at halftime, and Ekitike was also forced off later. Galatasaray’s defense held firm, and the atmosphere at full-time was electric. A famous win for the Turkish side.
Bodø/Glimt 2–2 Tottenham
This was pure drama up in Norway. Bodø/Glimt shocked Spurs by racing into a 2-0 lead, thanks to two well-taken goals from Jens Petter Hauge in the second half. Suddenly Spurs were staring at a nightmare, but captain Micky van de Ven pulled one back with a header just a couple of minutes later. Tottenham pushed hard, hit the post, and looked like they were out of luck, until the 89th minute when fate intervened.
A save from the Glimt keeper ricocheted off his own teammate Jostein Gundersen and into the net for a heartbreaking own goal. Spurs celebrated like they’d won, while Glimt were left wondering how they didn’t take all three points.
